It’s fair to say that last year was a very busy one for F.I.R.E. Consultancy. 

At the beginning of the year we opened our Fire Door Furniture Company shop, a significant milestone in our aims for the project. Later I was pleased to speak to the Chartered Association of Building Engineers Journal about the launch - giving us a chance to spread our message to a wider industry audience.

In May 2025 we sponsored the International President’s Technical Conference, exhibiting our work, networking and delivering a talk on technical challenges for building measurement. We’re looking forward to sponsoring this year’s event.

We were delighted to open our Manchester office alongside Urbanise Construction in May, then brought the teams from across all our offices together in August for our summer event and trip to Hensol Castle in South Wales. We’re now looking ahead to this year’s team meetings and starting to plan.

And if that wasn’t enough, we still had time to sponsor the Pontarddulais Show, and even introduce our staff exchange programme, which was a real success for those who took part. We’ll now be cementing these activities into our annual calendar. 

Now we’re through another busy January and into February, it’s time to look ahead to the rest of 2026 as we continue to build on a successful year.

This year we plan to grow further, aiming to add more staff at all our locations. We’ll also be ramping up our educational initiatives, including FRED, as well as adding new projects with plans to publish journals and educational activities for schools.

Alongside all of this we are of course here for your core fire engineering needs, including FRAs, FRAEWs, EWS1, strategy, bespoke engineering and expert witness.
