Dr Nathan Cooze CEng CSci FIMMM FHEA AIFireE joined F.I.R.E. Education Ltd. as a Tutor, where he supports the design, development and delivery of professional learning for fire engineers.

Nathan has over 16 years of experience in higher education, work-based learning and engineering skills development. Previously, he has held teaching and research roles at Swansea University, where he delivered industry-focused training and managed projects addressing skills needs across the private and public sectors. His background in materials science, mechanical engineering and applied education supports his work in developing practical, professionally-relevant learning that helps engineers build the knowledge, skills and judgement needed in practice.
